Scrap The Boys - May Challenge 

Another great challenge from Scrap the 

Boys. I loved this months sketch so I 

couldn't resist, had to have a go!

I thought I'd scrap these photos from when we 

were in Chicago. I have so many photos of our 

wonderful holiday and I'm slowly plodding away 

at getting the holiday album done. 

As you can see, one loved the cold and the snow, 

one was soft and wasn't as happy. Might have 

been because the wind was so bitter that your legs 

just burned and he also wasn't feeling very well.

Chicago is a beautiful city, next time we 

might visit in the Summer ;)

Kraft + May Challenge

Well what a fun quirky challenge this month. 

Funnily enough I loved the inspiration, it was 

very bright and busy and of course I had to tone 

it down to my standards but thats what this 

challenge was all about.... 

I have taken a few things from the inspiration. 

I know it wasn't a colour challenge but the blue is 

what grabbed my eye instantly. I loved the lines 

and the words bumper so I used this in my layout 

in my own 'Tanya' kind of way.

Another great challenge, thanks for letting 

me play along. Enjoy this glorious weekend.

Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia- May Challenge 

Here is my layout for the Tic Tac Toe 

Colour Challenge. As you can see I picked 

the middle row straight across. 

I had just completed the 8km walk in the 

Mothers Day Classic on Mothers Day so I 

was keen to scrapbook a photo from the event. 

Naturally I wanted to use the pink to match in 

with the NBCF huge pink ribbon balloon.

123 Challenge - May Challenge

Thank you for a great challenge this month. 

(haha I used the word great again seeing that 

I have only just realised I forgot to add peaceful 

to last months layout..oops!!)

I really enjoyed playing around with this layout. 

I have so many chipboard letters that I thought I'd 

start using them again even though most of the vowels 

are gone and I can never seem to make a title.

End result is I love this layout and I had lots of 

fun doing it. Enjoy the last of this wonderful Mothers 

Day weekend. Tanya x

Sketchy Boards Challenge using the colour 

palette and sketch above.

I had a bit of fun playing with gesso, 

white paint and colour blast pastes in this layout.

I still surprise myself that I actually don't 

mind getting my hands dirty these days!!

I've said it plenty of times before but I 

always love doing White with 1 challenges. 

So simple to do but always good to challenge 

myself with colours I probably wouldn't 

normally choose to use. The layouts always 

look so effective on white cardstock with 

only one colour. So thank you White 

with 1.... you guys rock!!
