Paper Rose - Beautiful Mandala

Hello there.

Those that know me well know that I don't do bright and 

colourful very well. So I've stepped out of my comfort zone 

to create these bright colourful cards using the 

Beautiful Mandala Stamp Set (17883).

It's not just bright and colourful that I'm not good with,  

painty inky hands give me a shortness of breath too. I promise I didn't wear rubber gloves to make these cards... hehehe

Today I'm sharing some cards I have made using 

more Paper Rose goodies. 

I thought it would be quite appropriate 

to share some cards that are all about love. They certainly 

don't just need to be for Valentines Day, they are perfect 

for birthday cards and just because cards. Cards just because 

you want to say thanks, I love you or whatever the occasion.

I have used the Scribble Hearts 1 (17832) die for all the cards. 

The die comes in three pieces which is great because it gives you 

so many options on what to make.

On this card I have stamped I Love You from the 

Hello Stamp Set (17304) 

This stamp set actually comes with one big HELLO stamp and 16 smaller stamps with different words and sentiments. 

The xoxo on this card has been done using the 

Baby Sentiments 2 Stamp Set (17910).

Thankful - ARTastic February DT Layout

Hey there xx

Today I am sharing my design team layout that I have 

done for this months challenge at ARTastic. The criteria 

this month is Nature. The photo I have used is of my mum 

and son Marcus while at the Healesville Sanctuary many 

years ago.

I took inspiration from the tall trees in the art work 

and also the little touches of orange which worked 

well because Marcus worn an orange shirt.

Sketchy Boards - February DT challenge Layout

Hey - I'm back with another layout that I have done 

for this months Sketchy Boards Challenge.

February is Valentines month so the sketch inspiration is 

all about love...... I've scrapped a photo of two of my loves, 

my husband Wes and son Marcus xx

More Paper Rose Cards

Happy Sunday to you all.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend. 

It's a Happy Anniversary Day for us, 23 years to be exact...

Time sure does fly when you're having fun.

On all of these cards I have used the 

Window and Accessories Die (16664) and the 

Wheat Field Die (17679) however I have changed a few of the 

pieces and where they are placed on the cards.

I did a bit of cheating on these cards. I used the 

Stitched Rectangles Die (16575) on my backing card stock as 

I liked the stitched look and it was far easier than stitching 

or drawing on stitched lines.

On this card I have used the Happy Birthday Stamp (16428). It is such a simple little font that works perfect on lots of cards.

I have also used the Grass Edge Die (17571).

The stamp used on this card is from the Hello Stamp Set (17304) 

It comes with one bigger Hello stamp and lots of smaller sentiments that you would use over and over again.

Again on this card I have used the I miss you stamp from the 

Hello Stamp Set (17304)  

Love - Vivid Red - White with One February DT layout

Well ...hello

Today I'm sharing my DT layout for this months

I love taking photos of these two together even though 

they don't usually co-operate very well. It might have something 

to do with the millions of photos I made them have taken when 

they were young, its their way to rebel...hehehe
