You're how old??? Paper Rose Birthday Card

Hi there friends

Hope you are all keeping well. Life is a little crazy
at the moment isn't it?
Well they say laughter is the best medicine so I thought
I'd share this card with you. I just love this stamp from
Paper Rose. So cute and funny!!!
The stamp set that I have used is called
17592 Laughing Animals  stamp set. It comes with the matching
die as well.
I have die cut out the rectangles using the
16575 Stitched Rectangles dies. They are perfect to give a
nice edge to your card, just finishes it off better than
just a normal trimmed edge.

I have coloured the stamped images in using water colour paints.
I love this small little paint palette from Monte Marte that you
can see in the picture above. There are plenty of water colour options available to use, pencils, paints or even distress oxides
to colour your images.

Just a note.......

Hey there ....

Tanya back with another card to share with you all.
A few weeks back I made a card using the lovely Paper Rose
17262 Mandala die. Well today I have used the die set again
but this time it is just the middle piece from the die set.

As soon as I used the die set last time I knew I wanted
to do something with this little die piece. So that's exactly
what I did. I cut out 18 pieces using white card stock.
I then coloured each one using different colours of Distress
Oxides and applied it using a blending brush.

Once the pieces were coloured with the Distress Oxides
I glued them down in rows. I wanted to keep the card simple
and not take away from the nice colours so I cut the
18288 Just a Note layered die using white card stock for
both the layer and the words. I actually cut the words out
twice and glued them together. It helps the wording stand out
just a little bit more.

I think this is my new favourite card. I think I might
make another one just using blue distress oxides to see
what that looks like.

Once again, thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog
and checking out what I have been creating.
Cheers - Tanya xx
