Daisy Days Card

Happy Monday to you all

Thought I'd use up some of the paper scraps in my stash and
create a card. Scraps of paper are perfect for making
cards....and we all have more than enough in our stash.

To make this card I have cut one red piece of paper slightly
smaller than the square card and distressed all the edges.
Then did the same with a piece of white card stock.
The top piece of red paper haas been die cut into a square
I have then stamped and embossed the daisies on this top
red square. The stamped daisies are from the Daisy Bouquet
and Daisy Days stamp sets. The sentiment is from the Daisy
Days stamp set.
I stamped the daisies using the new Paper Rose
Premium Dye Ink - Poppy and then embossed them using Lindys
clear embossing powder. I used some foam tape under the stamped daisies to raise it a little on the card.

Enjoy your week and thank you for stopping by...

Thank You - you are the best

 Howdy..
Thanks for stopping by.
Today I'm sharing a tri fold type of card.

You can open the card using the Thank you tag.
The whole piece flips open and then you can open the
striped paper piece too.

The paper I have used is from the 18990 Happy Days paper pack
Another new die from Paper Rose is the 19166 Rose Bloom Die, this has been cut out from a matching piece of cardstock.

The two sentiment pieces are from the

I'd suggest you jump onto the Paper Rose website and
check out all the new items available. I can guarantee your wish list will be a mile long...hehehe.

Happy Moments

Good morning xx

Nearly every week I curse Kasia for creating more
stencils for Paper Rose. I have a weakness for stencils
and she knows it... glad she thinks its funny and I
keep her amused.

The stencil I have used is a newbie called 19130 Wonky Waves
You can see below how I have created this card.
I have stuck washi tape through the middle of the stencil
and card so that this part can't be inked. This is the
part where my flowers and sentiment go.

I have inked through the stencil using a blending brush and
Distress Oxides. I used Carved Pumpkin, Wild Honey and
Spiced Marmalade.

The sentiment is also a newbie from the

I have used the smallest circle from the
16548 Stitched Circles dies. The flowers were cut from
yellow cardstock using the 18533 Daisy Flowers dies
The flowers have been covered with Nuvo Crystal Glaze
and while still wet I added A Maised Prills to the
centre of the flowers .
