ARTastic DT layout

Hello all.

Today I'm sharing a layout of my lovely mum and my kids when they were young.

The chipboard piece that I have used is called Mimi Doily. I have covered it with a light 

coat of gesso using a sponge. Once dry I have roughly coloured it with a Tim Holtz 

Distress Crayon called Peeled Paint. Using my finger I smudged the colour onto 

the chipboard to cover the whole piece with an even colour.

A2Z Scraplets DT Layout

Hi, time to share this weeks A2Z Scraplets Dt layout with you.

How quickly time flies, these photos were taken just over 

12 months ago while Leah was on holiday in Europe.

The chipboard piece Discover is perfect to use as a title on 

a holiday layout. The Brick Work Pieces chipboard that I 

have used comes with 4 different pieces. I have actually cut 

one of the pieces and used it in the two different cluster 

areas of my layout.

All my chipboard pieces used on this layout have been kept 

natural and covered with Crackle Accents.

A2Z Scraplets DT layout - June 2018

Today I'm sharing the layout I did using this months challenge inspiration mood board at A2Z Scraplets. 

It is such a bright and colourful mood board, puts me totally 

out of my comfort zone as I usually scrapbook more neutral or 

softer tones. The colours were actually perfect for the photos 

I had and the photos also suited the theme of celebrations.

I have used two different pieces of chipboard for my title. Everyday is quite a largeish piece and the Laugh chipboard piece is much smaller, it is from the Mini wordlets family set the I have used on 

lots of my layouts. So don't be afraid to mix up your chipboard pieces to make a title that suits your layout. I needed my title to stand out on the page and black was the best option. I have painted both pieces with black paint.
