A2Z Scraplets DT layout

Good morning all

Tanya here again to share another layout with you.
This one is of my daughter Leah when she was in Venice last year.

The Hello Beautiful chipboard title I have used has been
embossed with a chunky embossing powder that gives it a kind
of textured mottled look.

A2Z Scraplets DT Layout

Hello.........

I had so many layouts that I could have used this title on,
and I'm sure you could too.

The chipboard Too Darn Cute has been painted with black paint
and then I've drawn lines on top with a white pen.

A2Z Scraplets DT layout

Hi guys, thanks for popping by and visiting my blog.
I was having a little look at my stash of chipboard and thought
this chipboard frame 110 from A2Z Scraplets would work perfectly with this old photo of my mum when she was young.
I have actually cut the frame in halves to fit my photo
better as I didn't want to cut my photo. My flowers are cleverly
placed over the places that I cut the frame.

Both my chipboard pieces have been covered with distress accents
to give it a glossy but distressed look, the adore you chipboard piece has been dipped into some micro beads while the distress accents was still wet.

A2Z Scraplets Challenge layout - September

Hello......its challenge time again at A2Z Scraplets.

Today I'm sharing the layout that I did for this months challenge.
The criteria is to do a layout of fathers or males.
Perfect as Fathers Day is this month.

So this layout is a little bit different compared to what I
usually do. A bit more grungy and not so pretty but hey
different is good.
This is the first time I have used these Prima rust effects
paints. Not sure if I have used them as they are supposed to
be used but I'm happy with the end result. I coated this
Dotty Criss Cross Texture chipboard piece with the brown
rust then randomly I painted the gold rust and the red rust.
I rubbed some of it off and blended some using a cloth until
I was happy with the look.

On the XOXO chipboard piece I have embossed it with embossing powder, it turned out a little brighter than I wanted it so I sprinkled black embossing powder in random spots and
heated it. Still not the exact look I was after, I added some
the red rust and gold rust paint to random spots and rubbed
it into the chipboard.
