Paper Rose - Gum Leaf Cards

Happy Sunday. 

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.

Sharing more cards using a new die from the Paper Rose new 

release. Paper Rose have lots of wonderful Australian themed 

dies and stamps and this Gum Leaf Border Die (17874) not only 

looks good on its own it would also work well with other 

stamps and dies.

Another new release product I have used on these cards are the 

Sentiments 1 Stamp Set (17901)and Sentiments 2 Stamp Set (17904) 

They are perfect stamps to create titles on scrapbook layouts 

and word sentiments on cards. 

Paper Rose Challenge Inspiration Cards

Hey.....

Today I'm sharing some cards I have made using 

Paper Rose dies and stamps.

This month Paper Rose has a challenge happening, you can 

see their inspiration board below on this post.

These cards give you an idea of what you can do.

On my cards I have used several dies including

ARTastic March Challenge

Monochromatic is the criteria for this months 

challenge at ARTastic. 

I chose black as my monochromatic colour and to keep 

the layout quite simple.

I bit of machine stitching, a few diet hearts raised with 

foam tape, a chipboard piece embossed and a title and 

a few words and that's it. Simple but effective. 

I chose this photo of Wes and Marcus because although you 

can't really see in the photo, it was taken in front of a 

country pub. 

The building in the inspiration picture reminded me of an old country pub. No we don't have a drinking problem but yes we 

do love visiting old pubs, they have so much character.

Sketchy Boards DT Layout - March 2019

Aw aren't they just the cutest???

This is my gorgeous daughter Leah and her boyfriend Tamas, 

oh and the star of our family.......Eric the cattle dog.

This month's challenge at Sketchy boards Challenge is to use 

this sketch as inspiration. Include some fussy cutting, add 

flowers and tags to your layout. 

I have fussy cut my tags and the leaves and foliage that I stamped and of course nearly every layout that I do has flowers on it.

Paper Rose Cog Cards

Good Morning all.

Stuck on card ideas for men? Today I'm sharing three 

cards that are perfectly suitable for guys. 

I just love these Cog dies, so many uses.

On all three cards I have used  Cog Frame die set(17868).

The cogs are perfect to paint, emboss, stamp on etc.

On this card I have also used the new background stamps. I have used Mixed Media Stamp Set (17862), Celebrate Layered die set (17454) and Stitched Rectangles die set (16575).

Royal Blue - March Challenge layout - White with One

Good morning lovelies

It's March already....eeekkkk 

March is a busy month for us; birthday month, work conference 

and a weekend in our home town Healesville to visit wineries 

and go to the picnic races with our friends

So this new month means a new challenge at White with One.

Royal Blue is the colour to use with your white layout.

On this layout I have used some of the Stitched Rectangles - Australian Metal Cutting Dies (16576) from Paper Rose. 

I have used two different leaf dies from Paper Rose also. 

The rounded leaves are 

Leaf 1 (16784) and the pointy leaves are Leaf 2 (16787) 

The leaves are perfect to add to your flower cluster.

Scrap The Girls March Challenge Layout

Good morning

Today I'm sharing my layout that I have done for this months challenge at Scrap The Girls. The criteria is to be inspired 

by the films of the 90's.

I took inspiration from the movie 10 Things I hate about you. 

Of course I don't hate Leah one bit so I wrote 10 things I 

love about her. It's not often we write down things like this 

on our scrapbooking layouts, occasionally we journal about 

the holiday we've been on but I very rarely journal at all....something I must do more often. 

Another part in the movie was a timber swing scene, this is 

Leah in a shop in Portland Oregon so I thought this photo 

would be perfect to use.
