Kraft Plus January Challenge

Kraft Plus January Challenge

This challenge required us to incorporate our
own handwriting on our layout, now that is a
real challenge in itself because I don't like my
handwriting and never ever write on my work.
I'm happy to type up some journaling but handwriting
is no go zone for me usually.

But this challenge has certainly made me think about
writing on my layouts more often because only the other
day I found a piece of paper that is over 18 years old that
said two very special words on it - Hi Tanya
My dad wrote this when he was sick in hospital and he
gave it to my husband who was visiting him while in Melbourne.
He was to bring it home and give to me. My Dad died several
months later and I think that although my handwriting won't
mean anything to my kids now, it certainly will when I'm
no longer around.

  1. Oh ABSOLUTELY! You've hit the nail on the head re: the importance of our handwriting. It's part of US that we leave behind as a legacy. It says something about us & is such a special thing! I hope this has helped you get comfortable with your writing. Love the way you've used it to 'frame' your page, too:) And those inky splashes are really FAB:) thanks for sharing with us at K+ this month:):)
