White with 1 - June Challenge 

Here is my layout for the White with 1 

challenge this month. I love using Colour Blast 

pastes on layouts. I used Lovely Lilac as it was 

the closer of the two purple shades to Mauve. 

The warm colours in this layout are the complete 

opposite to how I was feeling before going on this 

toboggan ride... Thanks for taking the time to have

some of the left over items from my 

June Kitaholic Kit.

These kits are awesome value. I made 

4 layouts plus these cards and I still 

have quite a bit of stuff left.

Sketchy Boards June Challenge

Cute colours this month for the Sketchy Board 

Challenge, and I loved the sketch as well.

I have borrowed a friends Silhouette Cameo and 

been playing around with it. Taught myself how to 

copy an image off my computer and cut it with 

the Cameo. I am pretty impressed with how easy it 

is to use and I love the end result of my 

pizza shape circle. You will certainly see more die 

cut items on my layouts in the near future.

I can't believe after all the excitement of 

being chosen to be on the design team for 

Kitaholic Kits I forgot to tell you all.

Kitaholic Kits are an Australian based Kit Club 

that deliver yummy goodies to your door each month. 

The kits that are available are:

*Embellishment Kit

*Mixed Media Kit

Here are the first two layouts that I have done 

using kit items. I was given a few items from all 

the different kits. Jump on their website to see 

all the items in all the kits.

 My favourite items in the kit were the flower 

die cuts which I sprayed pink and the crocheted 

doily. Both I have never used before but will 

certainly use again.

ARTastic - June Challenge

ARTastic - June Challenge

This is the first time I have taken part in 

an ARTastic challenge and how could I not 

with his gorgeous inspirational artwork from 

Anna Collins called Top Hat. 

Adding stripes of some sort were a must, the 

tigers strips were the first thing that grabbed 

my attention. The criteria was to use black and 

white and one other colour of our choice on 

our layout. I was really tempted to use lime green 

like the tigers eyes but I really wanted to use this 

photo of Leah and I while we were in Chicago 

on New Years Eve. So as you can see I chose the 

tangerine colour to match my scarf.

123 Challenge - June Challenge

123 Challenge - June Challenge

This months challenge was a lot of fun. 

I'm actually starting to enjoy doodling on 

my layouts, I still don't love my handwriting 

but I'm starting to except that it will be nice 

for my kids to see years to come. Now that my 

parents are no longer with us, I love seeing 

their handwriting on things.

I didn't really have a suitable 'drama' photo 

but I loved this months colour with this photo 

of my nephews daughter which is why I thought the 

title 'Its nicer to be a beauty queen than a 

drama queen' was more suitable.

Kraft + June Challenge Guest DT

Kraft + June Challenge Guest DT

Funky Flair Studio are one of the sponsors 

for Kraft + this month. Karen and I were 

lucky enough to be asked to be guest designers. 

Jigsaw puzzle pieces on your kraft layout were the 

requirements for this months challenge.

My layout was embellished with altered puzzle 

pieces using fragments, micro beads and paint. 

I also used Colour Blast paste, gesso and  spray mists.

Eve from Funky Flair Studio 

made us the cute flairs just for this challenge.

Funky Flair June Challenge Layout

Hello! Thought I'd share with you my layout 

for Funky Flair Studio

The mood board colours this month 

are just gorgeous and the word LOVE goes 

perfect with the colours.

I must say I'm really happy how this layout of 

Leah and Chris turned out, I've always loved 

making paper flowers but never think to put them 

on my layouts. 

The love flair was from the June 

challenge set and the arrow flair was from the 

dreamweaver set. There are lots of yummy flair 

to choose from, take a look you won't 

be disappointed.
