A2Z Scraplets DT layout

Hey guys

Thanks for popping in again to check out my blog. 

Talk about leaving things to the last minute. 

I'm not normally an unorganised person but between working 

full time and moving my son to country Victoria 

(insert sad sad mummy face)

my scrapbooking has been very neglected. Only finished 

this layout last night. Oh well at least I didn't let

the team down, got it done finally.

I've used the large A2Z Scraplets Hearts of a square 

12 x 12 background chipboard which I have kept natural but 

I've hand stitched around the inside edges of the hearts.

The stitching gave me something to do while in the car going 

to Victoria. I cant sit that long in a car and not do anything!!

On this layout I have also used just the Family chipboard 

piece from the Mini wordlets Family Set which comes with 5 different words in the set.

I {HEART} you

Hey there everyone

I have so many photos that I could of used this gorgeous 

A2Z Scraplets chipboard I {heart} you piece with.  I love 

this photo of Jackson and thought it was perfect for this 

photo.

The chipboard piece has been covered with gesso and then on 

the I and the you I have used some distress ink that I painted 

on with a brush. The {heart} had been gesso roughly, I tried 

to leave it raised more so rather than paint the chipboard 

smoothly with the brush I plonked it on with the brush. Then 

it was painted with red paint.

Aggghhhh why do our kids have to grown up! 
Why can't they just stay little and cute?

So with a blink of an eye, this gorgeous boy is nearly 
18 and has just moved out of home. That time just 
went way to quick . We will certainly miss him 

but we are so proud of him for following his dreams. 
I just wish it didn't mean he would move states but 
I guess its better than moving countries!

The Arrow Words that I have used are from the January 
release at A2Z Scraplets. There are 4 in the set. 
Dream, Hope, Believe and Love.

I have embossed the chipboard words with black 
embossing powder to help them stand out on my layout.

Howdy!!! 

How could I not share this gorgeous bit of Tuesday 
morning cuteness!!

This Cute As A Button chipboard piece was just perfect for 
these two photos of Georgia. The chipboard has been embossed 
with black embossing powder and the buttons have been covered 
with Glossy Accents and blush micro beads. You could probably 
use any strong glue to attach the micro beads but Glossy 
Accents is my go to glue for most things.

I'm thrilled to be part of the A2Z Scraplets design team 

again this year. Here is my first layout for the year.

The So Happy Together chipboard piece that I have used has been painted with aqua paint then covered with a crackle paint, I have added white paint over the top. The crackle helps show some 

of the aqua through. The Scribble Heart chipboard piece has just been painted with aqua paint.

ARTastic DT Layout - January 2018

Sharing another layout with you today. This one is for the ARTastic challenge blog. The challenge this month is to use a vacation photo and to use the Arthur Streeton painting below as inspiration.

I took inspiration from the yellow and red outfits that 2 of the people were wearing. Here is my layout of Wes, Marcus and I in Fiji many years ago. I also used the gorgeous Mini Camera Shape chipboard from A2Z Scraplets on my layout.
