A2Z Scraplets DT layout

Who's excited for christmas???
This time next week it will be Christmas Day - yikes, scary hey?!?

This weeks layout has the You stole my heart chipboard title on
it. It's a very appropriate title for this photo of Leah and Eric.

The other piece of chipboard that I used is from the September release. It is the Large Torn Mesh Shape which I have cut up into two pieces and covered with Crackle Accents.

On the chipboard I have painted it with Art Alchemy acrylic paint. It gives the chipboard a nice shiny finish once painted

A2Z Scraplets DT Layout

Howdy. Thanks for stopping by.
Today I'm sharing another layout that I have done of Leah's
European holiday. I have heaps to do still so watch this space!

On this layout I have used the A2Z Scraplets World Traveller chipboard title and the Chicken Wire 6x6 piece.

I have painter the title with Prima Metallic Accents paints. I used the Black Static which gave the chipboard piece a nice touch of shimmer but still keeping it quite a flat tone. The chicken wire pieces have just been left natural.

A2Z Scraplets DT challenge layout - December

Awwww aren't my kids just the cutest!!!
I love that they are good friends and have so much banter going on between them.

This layout is my December challenge inspiration layout.
I have used the colours of the mood board but didn't really
have any nice Christmas photos as I always forget to take photos
on the day. Christmas is all about family so I thought I'd scrap
a layout of my masterpieces instead.

I've kept the chipboard pieces that I have used natural, I
think they pop better on the layout.
The chipboard pieces are available over on the A2Z Scraplets
shop if you'd like to take a look.

White with 1 - December DT layout

This months colour at White with 1 is Vivid Gold.
Something I haven't got much of in my scrapping stash!

Lucky I attended a class by Heidi Swapp when she was in
Australia and I got some gold minc foil and some sticker
letters that I used the foil on. And of course I have all the
Heidi Swapp sprays so I sprayed gold onto white card to use
on my layout too.

Hopefully you aren't too busy at this time of the year to take
part in our challenge and create something pretty.

Thanks for stopping by my blog - I love and appreciate visitors stopping by xxx

A2Z Scraplets DT layout

Howdy - Happy Tuesday.

If you haven't met Eric before, this is our dog that runs our house.
I was once my husbands best friend until this dog turned up....
We now have to go to places that Eric can go to so that he's not home by himself lonely...Never in a million early would I have thought our household would change this much by getting a dog!

So here is a double layout I have done of my husband and his best friend! Actually looking at these photos I'm pretty lucky that I was allowed to sit in the front seat, but of course Eric is between us!!!

The A2Z Scraplets chipboard title Man's Best Friend and the background chipboard piece called Geo Criss Cross texture
have been painted with Kaisercaft Winter Blue paint to match
the blue tones in the patterned paper.

A2Z Scraplets DT layout

Hows this for a crazy layout? Yes we are are kind of a bit crazy when we go to retreats.

Most people think of retreats as relaxing....hahaha not scrapbooking retreats! They are full of late late nights, too much chocolate, sometimes too much alcohol and plenty of belly laughs. Oh and not to forget snap chat photos when you are tired and delirious.

Here is a small collection of photos of Paige and I at a recent retreat.

The Retreat Time chipboard that I have used has been embossed with Stampendous Shabby Blue embossing powder. It is multi toned and blends nicely with the paper colours that I have used.

A2Z Scraplets DT Layout

Good morning
I'm here to share another layout with you, thanks for stopping by x

I have used a couple of different chipboard pieces on this layout. The large Raggy Mesh Background chipboard piece from A2Z Scraplets has been coloured with greyish toned pastels.
I have applied the pastels to the chipboard and blended the
tones in with my finger.

The A2Z Scraplets Funny wordlets that I have used have been painted
with kaisercraft paint. I only had silver and not a grey
so I added a little drop of black paint to the silver to get
the colour I wanted.
The Funny Wordlets chipboard piece come in a pack of five
different words. They are funny, adorable, silly, cute and
crazy. They are the perfect size if you just want to add a few
words to your layout.

A2Z Scraplets DT challenge layout - November

Well hello......today I'm sharing my DT layout inspiration
for this months challenge at A2Z Scraplets.

The challenge is a biking theme this month so I thought why not scrap some photos of our girls trip to Queenstown New Zealand.
We did a winery bike tour which I would highly recommend.
It was so much fun and the countryside is just gorgeous.

All the chipboard I have used on this layout has pretty
much been kept natural. I have swiped over the Chicken Wire
with a dabber of brown ink just lightly enough to help
the chipboard stand out more on my paper without colouring
it too much.
On the title Love This Life I have done the same as the
chicken wire chipboard but I have also added some crackle
accents to give it the crackled effect.

A2Z Scraplets Dt layout

Good morning - Today I'm sharing another A2Z Scraplets layout
with you.

I've thought about hand stitching through chipboard before and
never really done it. I wasn't sure if it would be too hard
to do but guess what?? It's really quite easy.
You just need to push a little harder with your pokey tool
when first piercing the holes and then its stitching as normal.

This I {heart} you piece has been painted with silver paint and
then stitched through. Its available on the A2Z Scraplets
website if you want to have a little shop.

A2Z Scraplets DT Layout

Hey Guys!
It's Tuesday which means its my turn to share my
A2Z Scraplets layout with you.
What is it with kids and puddles? They just love them don't they??

I've used lots of chipboard on this layout, and I've used
them several different ways. The title Little Cutie and a
couple of the circles were coloured with brown ink.

Some of the other circles were Nested Circles, they have
been covered with a chunky embossing powder which gives them
a mottled textured look. The other couple of circles that I
have left natural have been put into an embossing folder and embossed to give them
 a textured look.

A2Z Scraplets DT Layout

Happy Tuesday everyone
I'm back to share another layout using more lovely
A2Z Scraplets chipboard.
I love this photo of my very best friend from primary school.
We always have a great time together, and this fun day was no different... plenty of champagne and laughter x

I love the font used for this chipboard title Champagne Time.
On the title I have inked the top half of the word champagne
using a blending sponge and brown ink. It kind of gives it an
ombré kind of look. The bottom half of the word and the word
time has just been left natural.

I have done a similar thing with the Small Intricate Clock
I have inked the edges with the brown ink and blending tool
and left the centre of the clock the natural chipboard.

A2Z Scraplets challenge layout - October

Hello....
Look how cute out gorgeous puppy Eric is on a recent
visit to Bunnings

This layout is my challenge layout for A2Z Scraplets.
This is how I have interpreted the sketch. Hope you can
find some time in your busy life to participate too.

I have used a couple of chipboard pieces on my layout.
The first one is called Just Too Cute which was the perfect
title for this photo. I have picked out the tiny bits of red
in the photo and painted the chipboard with Prima acrylic
paint - metallique royal red.

My second piece of chipboard that I used is actually an off
cut from a piece that I used on another layout. It is called
Starred Bullseye Shape, I have actually only used the centre
of this chipboard piece. This piece has been inked around
the edges with brown ink and a blending tool.

Have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by xxx

A2Z Scraplets DT layout

Good morning all

Tanya here again to share another layout with you.
This one is of my daughter Leah when she was in Venice last year.

The Hello Beautiful chipboard title I have used has been
embossed with a chunky embossing powder that gives it a kind
of textured mottled look.

A2Z Scraplets DT Layout

Hello.........

I had so many layouts that I could have used this title on,
and I'm sure you could too.

The chipboard Too Darn Cute has been painted with black paint
and then I've drawn lines on top with a white pen.

A2Z Scraplets DT layout

Hi guys, thanks for popping by and visiting my blog.
I was having a little look at my stash of chipboard and thought
this chipboard frame 110 from A2Z Scraplets would work perfectly with this old photo of my mum when she was young.
I have actually cut the frame in halves to fit my photo
better as I didn't want to cut my photo. My flowers are cleverly
placed over the places that I cut the frame.

Both my chipboard pieces have been covered with distress accents
to give it a glossy but distressed look, the adore you chipboard piece has been dipped into some micro beads while the distress accents was still wet.
