Paper Rose Cogs Cards

Good Morning all.

I just had a fabulous time at the Flutterby Create By The 

Lake Retreat. Created lots of layouts, did a few challenges 

and classes. Watch this space for some of the layouts I created.

Today I am sharing a set of male cards I made using some of

the lovely Paper Rose dies and stamps.

The dies and stamps I have used are  

17868 - Cog Frame Dies

16576 - Stitched Rectangles A6 Size Dies

17115 - It's Your Birthday Stamp 

17652 - Happy Birthday to you Stamp

Layered Paper Rose Cards

Hey.. Thanks for stopping by.

Today I'm sharing some layered cards that I have made using  

several of the Paper Rose dies and papers from one of their 

gorgeous new paper pack collections.

The paper pack that I have used is  17991 Ella's Garden Paper Collection. The pack contains to 12 different designs.

I have cut out rectangles using the 16575 Stitched Rectangle Dies. Between each rectangle layer I have used thin cardboard to lift 

the paper giving a more layered effect.

On this card I have also used the 16951 Layered Hello Die and 

17973 Ella's garden Scribble Leaves Die. There are 6 gorgeous 

dies in this pack, I have just used the one on this card. 

I love this 16829 Thanks Peekaboo die. I have attached it to my card using foam tape dots to lift it. 

Look how cute these flowers are, cute from the papers from the 

paper pack. The flower die is called 16781 Flower Set Seven. 

There are two dies in this pack, the larger die cuts two pieces 

to the flower and the smaller die cuts the centre piece 

(which I think could look cute as splats too).

The sentiment is cut from the 17454 Celebrate Layered Die .

I have cut this out several times and glued together to help 

the word celebrate stand out more.

Today I'm sharing my DT layout for ARTastic. 

This months challenge requires you to use paint on your layout.

I used the brown colours of the inspiration artwork too.

Sketchy Boards Dt Layout - July 2019

Good morning.

Today I'm sharing the layout I have done for 

Sketchy Boards Challenge this month. 

 I  set myself a challenge when doing this layout. The 

inspiration picture had a clock on it so I thought it would 

be a good idea to set the alarm and give myself an hour to 

complete this layout. I was close, the alarm went off when I 

was inking the chipboard title. 

Its a simple layout but I'm happy with the way it turned out, and this is one of my favourite photos of wes and the kids.

Male Motorcycle Cards - Paper Rose

Good Morning xx

Are you are like me and never have enough male cards?

Today I'm sharing some male cards that I have made 

using Paper Rose stamps. It is the same 17604 Vintage 

Motorcycle Stamp Set used on all three cards. See it's easy to change the look of a card just by changing some papers and  repositioning the stamped images. Some of the stamped images 

have been embossed and some have been stamped directly onto 

the papers with brown ink.

The other Paper Rose items I have used on these cards are the

18126 Distressed Mesh Stencil  which I have used Tim Holtz 

Distress Ink and a sponge applied through the stencil to 

give a subtle pattern to the paper.

And on the card with the tag I have used the 16295 

Vintage Letter Stamp on the background paper.

White With 1 DT Layout - July 2019

Hello

Marine Green is the colour for this months 

White with One challenge.

As soon as I saw what the colour was I knew which photo I was 

going to use. This is me with a few on the wine club girls in 

an ice bar in Queenstown New Zealand on our girls weekend away. 

This ice bar was so much fun and the perfect start to a 

wonderful weekend of alcohol, adventure, friendship and 

laughter.

Scrap The Girls DT Layout - July 2019

It's challenge time again....

Can you believe it's July already?? Agghh this year 

is going so quick!

So this month at Scrap The Girls we have a colour mood board 

which you can see below. I love these colours, those that know me know that I'm not into too bright and colourful.
