Into the Woods cards - Paper Rose

Good morning friends

Time to share some more Paper Rose cards with you.
On these cards I have only used one stamp set.
17001 Into the Woods stamp set comes with one image
stamp and six phrases.

This just shows you how different cards can look with the
same stamp and different backgrounds. All these backgrounds
have been done using distress oxides. I did the backgrounds
first and then once dry I stamped my images onto the card.

On this card I have put distress oxide onto my messy mat,
sprayed it with a little water and then painted it onto the
white paper with a brush.

The background on this card was done by using a scrunched up
plastic bag. The oxide was dabbed onto my messy mat then
sprayed with a little water. I then scrunched up a bag and
dabbed it into the watery oxide and then onto my card. I used
five different distress oxide colours to make this background.

This card background was created by mixing two distress oxide colours onto my messy mat, spraying it with water and then
placing my card face down onto the ink, I moved the card around
to mix the colours a little.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, hopefully you got some
inspiration from these cards xx

Paper Rose Flower three cards

Hi there

It's been a busy few weeks is our household with a few
more crazy weeks to come....don't worry, I'll always find
time to create and share no matter how busy we get.

I have used quite a few Paper Rose dies and stamps on these layouts.

The dies that I have used are -

The Paper Rose stamps I have used on these cards are from the

I have also used a Paper Rose stencil on the card below. It is

To make the flowers so that they aren't flat and so they have
more dimension when on the cards I have sprayed each of them with water and scrunched them up in my hand.
I then unfold them and leave to dry. You can also use a
heat gun to dry them quickly. The paper goes hard when dry and
the flowers keep this scrunched up look.

Cut out all three different sizes, scrunch up and then when
dry apply a small amount of glue in the centre of the two
bigger ones and place on top of each other with the smallest
flower on the top.

Thanks for stopping by....
Hopefully you get to play with these dies and make some flowers
of your very own.

Cheers Tanya x

ARTastic DT layout - August 2019

Good morning scrapbookers

Today I'm sharing a layout I have done for this months

The criteria is to use shapes on your layout. The colours in
this photo of Leah in Japan matched perfect with the mood board,
as did the shapes of the tiles on the wall.

White with One Dt Layout - August 2019

Happy Friday xx

Today I'm sharing my layout for White with One.
Hmmmmmm... my least favourite colour this month.
Always tricky when a challenge asks you to use purple,
I hardly have anything purple. Lucky I have distress oxides in
every colour so I was able to colour a piece of white card
stock to use on my layout.

You have two choices of colour this month. Pastel purple or deep purple or you can use both. Scroll down to see the sketch that is
an option to use this month too.

Happy scrapping and thanks for stopping by my blog.
Cheers - Tanya xx

Instagram Inspiration - Scrap The Girls August 2019

Who doesn't love Instagram...

we all spend so much time scrolling through for inspiration,
whether it's looking at places to eat and the foods they
prepare, holiday inspo on where we'd love to travel too,
craft inspiration or just seeing what our family and friends
are up to. Whatever it is we are into, we all love Instagram!

This month at Scrap The Girls it's all about
Instagram or Insta Love!!

For my layout I decided to get photos off my daughter Leah's instagram page. Anyone that knows Leah knows that she is all
about black and white. Her photos she shares are only ever in
black and white. I took some inspiration from Instagram too,
I liked how their photos are in rows of three. So I thought
I'd position my photos like that too.

Because I'm not like Leah and can't live with just black and
white I thought my page definitely needed some colour too.
A few little Cocoa Vanilla Studio embellishments alway add colour
to a layout and help finish it off perfectly.

Hopefully you can find some time to join in with this challenge. Can't wait to see what you create.
Thanks for stopping by to say hello xxx
