Shaker Cards - Paper Rose

Good Morning everyone x

Today I have some cute fun shaker cards to show you.

On this card I have used the very cute 17427 - Monkey Love stamps and 17428 - Monkey Love matching dies. And to cut the peep hole circle I have used  16548 Stitched Circles dies and of course the lovely 16575 Stitched Rectangles die has been used.

I love the leaves used on this card. They are from the
The circle has been cut from 16916 - Circle Frames Stitched Die set.
The lovely little sentiment is from the new release
18183 - Lovely Florals Blossoms stamp set. And it has been stamped onto the smallest frame from the 16575 - Stitched Rectangles dies.

Last but not least...
I have once again used 16575 - Stitched Rectangles dies
17454 - Celebrate Layered dies to create this card.
The green celebrate die cut has been embossed in clear
embossing powder to give it the shiny look which works well
with the shiny sequins.

Have a fabulous day....happy crafting xx

Mandala Love - Paper Rose Cards

Happy weekend
Don't they come around quickly?!?!

Today I'm sharing some more Paper Rose love and it's all
about their Mandala stencil. I have made three different cards
using the same stencil but different techniques.

On this card I have used distress oxides and blending brushes.

These brushes are perfect for blending your colours through
the stencil and great at getting into the finer details of
a stencil.

The card has been embellished with a couple
of flowers, 17052 You're So Sweet stamp and

My favourite...
Light moulding paste and distress oxide mixed together to
the colour you want. Then the fun part of spreading it
over the stencil that is on top of your card.
Just like buttering your toast..
The stencil was taped down with washi tape onto the table
so it didn't move.
Then die cut LOVE YOU from 16844 Alphabet dies, then add a couple
of flowers and you have this gorgeous card!!

This card was a bit messy for me...
Those that know me well know I don't like getting colour on my hands. I certainly don't mind getting my hands dirty, just
not a fan on colour on my hands.

For this card I put distress oxide onto my messy mat, sprayed it with water and then laid my stencil onto the colour.
The inky coloured side of the stencil is then laid onto
the card, pat it down a little and then lift it off.
then repeated the process with a second colour.
The die I used was 16951 - Layered Hello and just a few scribble lines around the edges and ...bam...you have another card.

Have a wonderful weekend crafty peeps xxx

Paper Rose - Inky Antics Cards

Good morning Paper Rose Peeps

Hope all is well. I have had a few crazily busy weeks to
keep me on my toes. I was lucky enough to work at Paperific in Melbourne. What an awesome paper craft show that was. It was my first time there and it certainly won't be my last.

The Paper Rose stand was so busy all three days but Friday
was just manic....so many people love Paper Rose stamps,
dies, stencils and paper packs just as much as we do.
It was so good to meet so many new faces.

My must have list grew bigger and bigger as the weekend went on.
I should just get one of everything ..... hehehe!!
Oh my goodness, all the new release stuff is just gorgeous.
My suitcase was a little heavier on the way home. I used a few of the must haves on these cards.

The new 18177 Inky Antics Paper packs worked just
perfectly with the 18168 Blossom Outline Dies
I have used them both on all three cards.

On this card I have also used the 18123 Half tone stencil.
Another new favourite that I discovered at Paperific are
these new blending brushes. They are so easy to use and
perfect to use with Distress Oxides and stencils.

The sentiment used on this card is from the
17985 Beautiful Words Stamp set. So many more lovely words
in this set. Looks like I have plenty more cards to make
just to use more words.

On this card I have used 18144 Sunshine Words Stamp Set and

This would have to be my favourite stencil and its brand
spanking new. It is the 18213 Leaves Stencil.
The 18147 Awesome words stamp set has also been used.

Thanks for stopping by. Do yourself a favour and jump on the website and take a look at all the new products available...they are all super cute xxx

White With 1 DT Layout - September

Hello there!

This challenge was really different to any that we have
had at White With 1. The criteria is white with anything goes.
Yep thats right not just one colour this month. White still
needs to be the main colour.

Scrap The Girls - September DT Sketch Layout

It's a new month, so this means it's challenge time again.
I can't believe it's September already.
It's a big month for us with a Happy Birthday to my
husband Wes.....not any old happy birthday but a 50th Happy Birthday...he's getting old hehehe.

This month at Scrap The Girls there is a sketch designed by
Sue Plumb for inspiration. I instantly loved this sketch and
knew I would be using paint or ink of some sort to create
my background.
