Merry Christmas

 MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all...

Wishing you a wonderful time with family and friends,
stay safe and enjoy your time together.

Today I'm sharing one last card for 2021.
This is another card made using lots of gorgeous
products from Paper Rose.

First I stencilled onto the white cardstock using the stencil, a blending brush and distress oxides.

This stencilled piece was then matted using silver shimmer
card and attached to my card front.
Snowflakes were diecut from silver shimmer card
and silver glitter card.

The sentiment was stamped using a grey versa fine ink pad. The sentiment was then cut out using the banner die.

Below are all the Paper Rose products that I used to
create this card.

Christmas Cards

Well hello again...
Are you ready for Christmas?
Have you made your Christmas cards yet?

Today I'm sharing some cards I have made for Paper Rose using
some of the Christmas Paper Collections that I have in my stash.
These papers are perfect for cutting up into strips and
adding to cards.

Black cardstock was used to matt the christmas paper and
the sentiment was raised using foam tape to make it pop
on the card.

Happy Birthday

Yikes it's December already.
I hope you are ready and organised for this crazy month.

Today I am sharing two birthday cards I made for my twin nephews.
So now you know why they are same same but different.

I love using distress oxides and a blending brush through
stencils. I have blended two of each colour through the
stencil but I love how the pressure applied to the blending
brush can also change the colour tone of image stencilled. I
have used a Paper Rose 18454 Blending Brush.

For these two cards I have stencilled using the
When cutting the die, it comes with an outline piece and a
centre piece. I have used the outline of the letters on the green
card and the centre of the diecut pieces on the blue card.

For the background of these cards I have applied washi tape to
the edges of the card base. I have then blended ink to the card,
once done I have then removed the washi tape to leave a crisp
white edge.

The stencilled image on the white cardstock is then matted
with black cradstock to allow it to pop more on the card and matches well with the black diecut sentiment.

Summer Vibes Layout

 Hello....

Oh my goodness have you seen how cute the Paper Rose
Beach Hut stamps and papers are??
Jump onto the Paper Rose website and check them out.

To create this fun layout I have fussy cut images from the
23752 Beach Huts 12x12 Paper Collection. The background paper and
photo matt paper are from this collection too.
I have coloured stamped images of beach huts using Stampin
Blend markers. The images have then been fussy cut.
The Paper Rose stamps that I have used are 23785 Beach Hut 2

Cut the white cardstock to measure 25.5cm x 25.5cm. Distress the
edges and stick onto the red spotty paper. Stencil across the white cardstock using the 19298 Cracked Stencil and some gesso or light moulding paste. Once dry add your photo and the fussy cut images. Add some gauze and sequins to finish off your layout.

Thanks for stopping by...see you in December YIKeS!

My Boy

November already....can you believe it??
Scary thing is, it will be Christmas before we know it.

It's my turn to share a DT project for Paper Rose. I love the
thought I'd create a single page layout with it.

First thing I did was stencil some cogs lightly on the
background paper. I have used 18867 Cogs & frames Stencil
I love using these brushes as you can add the ink as lightly
or as heavily as you like.

Diecut out some cogs using the 17868 Cog Frame Die and some
circles from the 21309 Track Circle Frame Dies. The cogs are
cut from black and grey cardstock in my stash. The circles
are from papers in the Dads Shed paper collection.

Fussy cut out cogs and double matt your photo using papers from
the Dads Shed paper collection. Put your layout together.
Draw around the edge of your layout using a black marker and
splatter onto your layout using black ink.

Thanks for stopping by, see you back here on the 12th xx

Tool Shaker Card

Good Morning Friends

Today I'm sharing another card I have made for Paper Rose Studio.
This card is a shaker card using diecut pieces as the shaker bits.

from cardboard and one from black cardstock.
Tape them all together in layers; first black cardstock then
add a piece of acetate behind the black cardstock before adding
the three cardboard.

Next step is to die cut out four hammers, four screwdriver and four wrenches from silver cardstock. Diecut one saw from white
cardstock using the 16542 Tool Set 1 dies.

Place the silver tools inside the circles before attaching to the
21624 Slimline AU White Card Bases front to make a shaker card.

Add a sentiment from the 19023 Black & White Sentiment Sheets.

Snuggly Christmas Tri Fold Card

Hello there....
73 sleeps until Christmas, thought it was time to start
making some Christmas cards.

Isn't this tri fold Christmas card just a little bit cute?

Here is a little step by step look at how I made this card.

Fold the front cover of your card in half length ways.

This is how it will open.

Cut out your chosen papers for the three panels leaving some
white card showing. I have sanded the edges of these papers.
Don't tape or glue down the papers just yet!!

Add your fussy cut pieces and the die cuts to your papers.
Before taping or gluing, prick holes into the paper and
stitch using thread to hang the baubles.

Lastly I added a Christmas sentiment to the card using
19772 Crisp Christmas Sentiment Sheets. Now you can attach the
papers to the card. This was done last so that the hand stitching
didn't go though onto the card.

Best Wishes

Happy Sunday Peeps

Time to share another card I made for Paper Rose Studio.
Thought it was time to make another male card, I never
seem to have enough.

I really love how this card turn out.
First thing I did was mix two or three different colours of
distress oxides with light moulding paste.
With my spatula I smeared across the 18427 Waves Stencil mixing the
colours as I went until I was happy with how the background looked.

Next I stamped my image onto white cardstock using the
18330 Work Boots Stamp, I coloured the image using Stampin
Blend markers. Then I fussy cut out the boots.

The silver matt and 16844 Alphabet letter Dies where cut out

The work boots have been raised using foam tape.

Watercolour Whimsy Card

Well hello..
Today I'm sharing another card that I made for Paper Rose Studio.

I had a little play with my alcohol inks that I hardly ever use.
The colours worked well with one of the sheets of paper in the
I used white cardstock in between the alcohol inked paper and the watercolour whimsy paper to break the colours up.

Next I die cut out two of the 19166 Rose Bloom Die. I glued the
diecuts together to give extra thickness and dimension.

Do what makes you happy - Art Journal Page.

Happy Sunday to you, hope you're having a great weekend.
I've done something a little different than normal for
my DT project for Paper Rose Studio
I have so many of their stencils, I may be a little bit
addicted to them!!!
So I thought I'd have a little go at art journalling using
some of the stencils in my collection.

The first thing I did was colour my pages with Life of Colour
Paint Stix. I added a little bit of water and blended the colours
with a tissue. Most people would just use their finger but I'm not
good at getting my fingers dirty.

The next thing I did was add stencilling all over my page with
lots of different Paper Rose stencils and different mediums.I have
used Paper Rose Inks, Colour Blast Colour Pastes and Mont Marte
Light Moulding Paste. I finished by drawing with White and
Black Uniball pens to add circles and lines and to trace around
some of the stencilling.
See below for a list of the Paper Rose stencils and inks I used.

I stamped onto American Deli Paper using Versa Fine Clair pigment
ink and 17883 Beautiful Mandala Stamp. The stamped images were
then torn  and stuck to the page using gel medium.

Stitched Circlet Card

Hello...
Today I'm sharing another card I made for Paper Rose Studio.

Hand stitching ....There is nothing I love to do more when
relaxing at night in front of the TV. I poke all the holes then
get myself comfortable and start stitching. I always use DMC thread.
It comes with six strands but I only ever use three when stitching
on cards or scrapbooking layouts.

On this card I have used the 16808 Circlet Layered Background 1 die
to cut out one circlet.  I have glued it to a piece of kraft
cardstock which is the same size as my card base. Then I
poked holes as shown above. Hours of stitching in front of the
TV and a little bit of fussy cutting of flowers, hearts and
and the card is nearly done.
Next I added some gauze and then glued the flowers down.
The hearts were raised using foam tape. The Happy Birthday
sentiment was from this same paper collection.

Thanks for stopping by, happy crafting and stay safe xx

Vintage Rose Cards

Well hello again.

I'm just sharing a couple of cards I have created
for Paper Rose Studio using lots of their gorgeous goodies.

Firstly I made a shaker card. Those of you that know me, know
that I'm a bit of a fan of shaker cards, I find them fun to make.

For the shaker card below I die cut out the background using
Some people use foam tape for their shaker cards but I prefer to
just cut lots of layers and glue them together. I cut out the
slimline card creator circles five times from white cardstock
Between the top of the white cardstock and the bottom of the
silver cardstock I tape acetate to cover over the circle holes so
that when I add my 19499 Clear Crystal Mix it doesn't fall out.
I always tape the acetate as it sticks better than glue and I'm
less likely to have smudge makes on the acetate when using tape.

The next step for this shaker card is adding the shaker mix
and then covering the back of the circles with a piece of
I chose a pink toned piece of paper that matched well with my
ribbon that I tied around the die cut card creator.

Finally I fussy cut out a couple of flowers from this paper
collection and finished off with a couple of die cut pieces
from 20976 Spring Bloom.  The little sentiment was from

The last thing to finish off this card is to attach this all to the card base. I used 21624 Slimline AU White Card Bases. They are the perfect fit when using Paper Rose Studio card creator dies.

After I made my shaker card I had lots of left over circles
that I wanted to do something with. Don't ever waste all
these little left over pieces of goodness. I actually have
a little felt zip up box on my desk that I put all my left over
die cut bits and pieces; I often use these pieces on cards and scrapbook layouts.
I decided to make another card using some of the extra stuff
from what I had been using to make the shaker card.

For the card pictured below I cut a piece of Silver Cardstock
to measure 9.5cm x 15cm. This piece was then embossed using the
The pink piece of paper from the Vintage Rose collection
measures 15cm x 8cm and is torn along the bottom. I have
sanded all the other edges of this paper which gives a nice
white edge to help it pop when sitting on the silver cardstock.

Now to add three of those left over circles. I hand stitched them
once they were attached to the paper before it was all attached
to the card base. I fussy cut out some more flowers and
die cut leaves and flowers the same as the previous card.
The sentiment is from the Vintage Rose paper collection. It
has been die cut using 16575 Stitched Rectangles die. I used
this die because the stitched edges look nice with the hand
stitching and the embossed stitching on the silver cardstock.

So there you have it... two lovely cards very different
but similar at the same time.
Cheers - Tanya x

Baby It's Cold Outside

Good morning crafty friends

Today I am sharing a layout using papers from the

On this layout I stencilled onto the background paper with
Speckled Egg Distress Oxide blended through my
haven't used one of these brushes I highly recommend giving
them a try...they are the bees knees!!

The paper strips I have addd to the layout are just the reverse
of the barcode strips at the bottom of the papers. Don't bin them
like I usually do, they do come in handy on a card or layout.

I have fussy cut out floral pieces for this layout from papers
in this paper collection. The 'Baby it's cold outside' sentiment
is from the reverse of the background sheet. Fussy cut out from
under where the photo is sitting. I then cut the sentiment
properly using  21438 Nestled Pierced Rectangle die to give a
pierced edge around the sentiment.

to my floral clusters using spotty blue and white paper from
the collection.

The other die that I have used on this layout is  the
16969 Quatrefoil Layer 1 die which I have diecut and then cut
into pieces and placed under my photo.

Thanks for stopping by...happy creating
